Nunnelly has recently been awarded the COSA District 4 Heritage Neighborhood Park Community Center. The 17,000 sq. ft. new multi-generational center will be adjacent to Heritage Neighborhood Pool and including programming for seniors and youth of all ages. The single-story facility will include a dining room, warming kitchen, classrooms, gym with exercise areas, lounge/game areas, health screening room with staff offices, covered outdoor seating area as well as a reception and waiting area. The site improvements for this project will also include parking for approximately 150 vehicles, sidewalks, vehicular drop-off area, landscaping and outdoor activity spaces. Wetland preservation, LED lighting, a high-efficiency mechanical system along with low-water use and native vegetation will be some of the green and sustainable building components for this project.
