The Northwest Military Baptist Hospital consisted of a new, two-story tilt-wall structured building of approximately 38,000 sq.ft. that included both shell space and emergency care space. The first floor had a mix of both exam rooms, patient care, and shell space for future expansion.
High-end architectural features were found throughout the building, including three form glass wall systems, mixed masonry with interior aluminum soffit panels, terrazzo flooring, and two flights of stairs with glass panel railings leading up to the second floor, which consisted of a mix of shell and medical office space. The project included related site paving, drainage, and other improvements. This hospital type facility included capabilities for CT scan, X-Ray, and med gas. It also utilized a WPAP detention filtration system, which required Nunnelly to work diligently with CPS and SAWS.
