Nunnelly, through the process of competitive sealed proposal, was awarded the San Pedro Baptist Emergency Hospital. The project consisted of a complete exterior rehab, as well as 30,000 sq.ft. of interior renovation. Due to its location, the staging area for this project was extremely tight. Nunnelly used lean practices known as just in time delivery to avoid unnecessary site congestion.
Through phasing and Critical Path Method scheduling, the project was not only completed on time, but reached substantial completion over a month early. Due to the integrity, quality, and efficiency displayed at the San Pedro Location, Nunnelly was awarded two additional Baptist Emergency Hospital projects located in Schertz and San Antonio.
